American Animal Rescue Society needs you to help us save homeless, abandoned and forgotten animals by becoming a foster family!

Dogs and cats who may be otherwise destroyed at overcrowded facilities are rescued by AARS and temporarily placed with you, their Foster Family, until a Forever Family is found by AARS!  When you foster we will make sure that we place an animal that best fits your family and home.  AARS takes the cat/dog to our veterinarian for vetting before being placed in your home!  We provide the medical care and just ask that you, the foster, provide plenty of love and food.

We are always looking for new foster homes and especially for emergency fosters who can take on an animal on a very short notice.  By fostering you save lives that would have otherwise been lost.  If you have children, the lessons they learn will enrich their lives.  You are never under any obligation, if you can no longer foster, we ask that you give us a few days notice so we can make other arrangements.

 A few points to keep in mind:

• By fostering you are temporarily helping us save a pet in need who would be otherwise euthanized.
• This application helps us determine the best fit for you & the animal.
• Fostering is temporary & does not imply ownership or adoption.
• All animals fostered belong to American Animal Rescue Society
• American Animal Rescue Society will find the adoptive home for the animal fostered.
• The animal fostered is not to be given away.
• If you can no longer keep fostering the animal, you must give AARS a few days notice as lining up another foster home may take some time.
